This page explains what Slaytz collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we keep only what the app needs, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email and password, if you make an account. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), so no one can read them, including us.
  • What you save: the picks and slips you save, so you can see them later.
  • Slaytz AI: the questions you ask and the answers you get, saved to your account. If you send a screenshot of a slip, it's used to answer you; we don't keep the image.
  • Bets you open at a sportsbook: the bets in your betslip (players, teams and lines) go to Gambly so it can find them at each book. Nothing about you goes with them: no name, email or account. We keep Gambly's answer for up to 2 days, under a scrambled code made from the bets, so the next person with the same bets gets it faster. It isn't tied to you or your account.
  • Slaytz Pro: if you subscribe, Stripe takes your payment. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see or store your full card number. From Stripe we keep your plan, its status and dates, and Stripe's customer ID for you. To allow one free trial per card, we also keep the code Stripe gives each card (a fingerprint, not the card number) or your Cash App or Link payer ID, even if you delete your account.
  • On your phone only: your betslip and a few settings, like your sport, filters and that you're 21+, are kept in your browser. They never leave your device. The app also keeps pages on your phone so it can open without a connection.
  • Basic server logs: like most websites, our hosting companies log things like your IP address and browser type when you load a page, to keep Slaytz running and safe.

Browsing Slaytz doesn't need an account. We don't use ad trackers, and we don't collect your location or contacts.

Who helps us run Slaytz

We share data only with the companies that run parts of Slaytz for us:

  • Supabase stores accounts and saved data.
  • Cloudflare hosts the website and keeps short-lived copies of each day's public research so pages load fast. It also counts visits for us without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
  • Gambly (with its data partner Unabated) gets the bets in your betslip, as above, and serves the sportsbook logos, so your browser loads those images from their servers.
  • Stripe handles Slaytz Pro payments: your card, billing and receipts. It gets your email and payment details and follows its own privacy rules.
  • Anthropic runs Slaytz AI. Your question (and screenshot, if you send one) goes to Anthropic so it can write the answer.
  • ESPN serves player photos and team logos, so your browser loads those images from ESPN's servers.

We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. We'd only hand it over if the law requires it.

Links to other apps

Slaytz links to Gambly and to sportsbooks like FanDuel (for example, to load your bets). Those links include a partner code that tells them the visit came from Slaytz. Once you leave Slaytz, those sites and apps follow their own privacy rules and may use their own cookies, so check them before you use them.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and saved data until you delete your account. Gambly's answers for a betslip are deleted after 2 days. Server logs are kept for a short time by our hosting companies.

Deleting your account cancels any Slaytz Pro plan first, so you're never charged again. Stripe keeps its payment records as the law requires, and we keep the card code used for free trials (see above), so a new account doesn't get a second one.

Your choices

  • Delete your account any time on the Account page. It removes your email, saved picks, slips and AI questions right away.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to fix or delete it, by emailing support@slaytz.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have more rights, and we'll honor them.
  • Clear what's on your phone by clearing your browser's site data for slaytz.com.

Keeping it safe

Your data is sent over encrypted connections, and each account can only read its own saved data. No system is perfectly safe, but we work to protect yours.

Adults only

Slaytz is for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think someone under 21 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is big, we'll say so in the app.
